2001 Indicator not working - fixed, here's how

Post by Greg123 » Tue Aug 30, 2011 7:35 pm

Hi guys, just a help for anyone else in similar circumstance:

A customer's 2001 Bongo Friendee V6 had left but no right indicators. Neither did the right flash on use of hazards.

I traced the relay unit/circuit board to the drivers kick panel by your foot/accelerator, by switching on the indicator on the working side I could feel it clicking. Remove the double relay size unit and open it up. Look carefully and test out the relays - I cleaned up the contacts but the fault was a dry pin on the board. De-solder, resolder and test - all working fine!

I hope that helps someone one day - if it's been covered before excuse me.
