Post by old_GH » Tue Aug 23, 2011 2:17 pm

Determined to get to at least one bash next year, so Bash in Abergavenny... what's the name of the campsite, postcode etc. Some details would be much appreciated please.

Looking forward to meeting members from "sunny" Wales 8) - or anywhere else for that matter ;)

The Welsh Bongo Bash next year is the weekend of Fri 18 to Sun 20 May 2012 in Abergavenny, South Wales.
Not sure about any further details at this point though.

Cheers

Thank you Ian... that campsite looks excellent and great reviews. Huge pitches, metered EHU and the over 50's special offers are great value too.

Croeso!

Yes, it's still on. :D You need to be members of the Bongo Fury club to attend the meet. Just see the main site for details if you haven't already.
Booking opens next month on 23rd February.
Will be a fab meet - would be great to see you there! 8)

Cheers

This park is about 100 yards from TREDILLION farm which is a pick your own place and is absolutely outstanding, we are there every year, everything from strawberries to broad beans, lol, there are some fabulous walks very close too and also a stone throw away is Wern Ddu farm, which used to be pick your own but is now a camp site., huge golf course with driving range and small sort of kiddie zoo for the bairns, all in the fringe of abergavenny as well, If I can get there I will if only as a day visitor who knows the area, lol, you will have a fabulous time, Tuesday is main market day in the town and is superb, as is the walk beside the river, you are in for a treat folks.
