Rear Electric blinds

Post by jason » Sat Aug 06, 2011 10:51 am

Hello

I have just recently got a bongo (2.5 v6 2002) and the rear blinds do not work. Any ideas?.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Try operating the switch on the dashboard a few times, the switch doesn't get used much and the contacts oxidise. After that check the fuses

Check the rear switches too, if they have been disconnected I don't think the blinds will work from either switch. May need the switches dismantling & cleaning, I'm sure Jaylee'll be along soon
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Can't really elaborate on what you just said Kirsty... But normally after a few presses at the front gets em going even if there is a little delay...? Cleaning the internal contacts makes em responsive "like new"!!

Have you had a leisure battery removed Jason, or a fuse gone leading from one!?? :-k
Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...
