hi dandywarhol,
it was last friday just before we were due to go away, the wife was on her way home when she rang saying that it wont go up the hills.
so when she got home i took it to a local garage were he said that i have a spark on all six leads but he thinks there is no fuel getting in number six piston.so on my way home from the garage i went up a couple of hills and it loss losing power, slowing down then it would change down in the gears and rev high.
no disrespect to the local garage but i am having it diagnosed on thursday by a specialist.
what do you think?
kind regards
drew
ps. had to sleep in a tent at the weekend, thank god for whiskey!!

Find out if there's a signal getting to the injector and also take an ohmeter across the 2 terminals on the injector and see if there's a resistance

Hi,
I usually use a piece of insulated brush shaft or similar and listen for the Tick at the injectors ( No Tick No Go)
Cheers.

hi all,
just had the man who tunes cars and dianogstics. he couldn't connect to ecu because he didn't have the right plugs.but he checked the emissions and he thinks it is the lambda sensor not working right.all six injectors are working which is good news.
how many lambda sensors are on a 2.5 v6?
regards
drew
