batttery light and sediment light

Post by tomheaney99 » Tue Aug 24, 2010 9:24 pm

Yet another post lookin for help :) thanks for replies so far.

Latest problem :)

got it back from the garage today - asked them to find a coolant leak.

turns out it is the pump. I told them i'd change it myself so when i picked it up and drove home the battery light and sediment light now stay on.... any ideas why??

I've ordered a new pump and thermostat however wont arrive for a few days. It's never ending with my bongo and i drive her so carefully. boooooo!

Are you sure the drive belts have been tightened properly, maybe thrown back together in a fit of pique and not checked properly, hence slipping?

If as you say they had'nt put them back on water pump would not be working so just according to distance home might be overheating problem now.Check water levels.
