Rear seat belt sticking - passenger side

Post by cabercrombie » Thu Apr 29, 2010 4:31 pm

Hello

My Bongo is coming up for MOT in next few months and suddenly the Rear seat belt on passenger side is sticking and wont pull out. Ive removed side panel and physically removed the seat belt mechanism but cant get into it to see what causing it to stick. The catch (when you pull the seat belt hard enough - like when in a collision) operates anytime you go to pull out the belt (Even doing it as gentle as possible!)

Anyone got any ideas whats wrong? Is it goosed? If so where would I get a new one/second hand one?

Thanks

Stick an ad in stuff wanted or contact anyone that's in the breaking section, should be easy enough to get from a converter or breaker.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

I have a big box of seat belts taken off a bongo we broke and a couple of lucidas, despite telling people to label things where they come from and what car they are all unlabeled!!! So I likely have the one you need see if there are some numbers on the label and let me know and you can have it for a small fee to the beer fund.
