ROOF WONT GO DOWN !!!

GRRRRRRR assistance required fellow bongolians.Just got mine back after a v expensive head skim and decided to give a good old spruce and a little tlc hoping for a little in return.The roof wouldnt go up so changed the 30 amp fuse 2nd row 4th left. Now it doesnt want to close.Tried all the usual suspects handbrake contact ,in park running/not running,doors closed cancelled lock every combo,changed fuse again etcetc.NO JOY.THE roof light comes on the ignition then when I turn the engine over its flashing and beeping ???? why.Does anybody have experience of a gentle 8 mile drive with the roof up to get it to a dealer ?? Any suggestions (other than a can of petrol and a box of matches) or comments greatly appreciated.

I can be lowered manualy with a allen key and rope I will search for full instructions

I have one...! Though i don't have an aft. Just a sunroof!

It's just an idea..! The actual roof rocker switch contacts..??? They might need a good clean..
Drop the switch, take the back off & clean the gunk (Like mouse mung from the old ball computer mouse) off the poles.. Remember to clean where the contact kind of see saw pivots on the copper like bit in the middle.. (which are the negative poles) Making six contact point in all! 10 minute job.

Have you checked the second fuse ?

There are two fuses which might stop the motors running;

The first one is middle row 4th from left, 30 amp
The second one is middle row 2nd from left, 15 Amp

If both have blown then I would want to find out why !
