Coolant level at 6.5cm. Is this too high?

Hello

We are now proud owners of a 2.0l bongo. Thanks for everyone for the help and advice gained from this forum.
I am in the process of sorting out the compulsary pictures.
I have checked the coolant level since I took delivery and it has stayed the same and I have now completed approx 2000km.
Out of curiosity I decided to use the lolly pop stick method and found that it measures 6.5cm.
I knew it was above the maximum level but thought nothing of it as it was delivered by a reputable dealer.
It has a coolant alarm fitted (single wire)
Do i need to worry about the level?

Thanks
Terry

that is a bit over full........next time it is all cool.......use somthing to suck out a bit.(not your mouth) a "basting" tube/sucker will be o.k. (don't let the wife see you) it should be on the TOP FULL line when cold (2 cms) and when hot it will raise about 1 cm above. Then always check when cold and it should always be on the full line.
