very sad news

Post by karena » Tue Apr 20, 2010 4:08 pm

Some of you already know, but Alan (blobber) has aked me to let you all know that on Sunday evening Dot passed away.We dont know the cause yet although she had been ill for a long time this was unexpected.
As anyone who knew her will tell you Dot was a very tiny lady with a very huge personality and the most infectious laugh
You will ever hear. She may have been small in stature but she will leave a huge gap in our lives especially Alans and her famillys. Our thoughts go out to them. When he asked me to do this Alan said she viewed all of us as her extended familly and i think we were priviliged in return to be that.

I dont know if i have chosen the right place to put this off messsage somehow didnt feel right but please move it if you think this isnt the right place.

So very sad to hear this news Karen. Our thoughts are with Alan and the family. What a very sad thing to learn of, and its an honour to know that Dot thought of us as family. May she rest in peace.

Hi Many thanks to Karen for posting the news. All thoughts to Alan and also Stephen and Rashna, who attended some bongo meets. Little friend, big heart. Always miss her, always remember her. Will remember her most from the dolphin watching holiday, she could spot them better than those who were there officially. That and her demonstration of how to get into and out of a boat. Take care Alan and let us know if we can do anything at all.
My best memory. Harry and Trish

Dot was a lovely lady and I for one will miss her a great deal, as I know will a great many others.

Alan, you are in our thoughts at this sad time, and you know where we are if you need anything at all. Take care of yourself.

We're so so sorry.

A bolt out of the blue, such an injustice.

Alan - when the time is right - you know you can call on any of us to do the best we can to try to ease your pain.

Words fail me but the heartfelt sympathy is there.

Dot was a legend & loved by everyone whose lives she touched. O:)

Stay as strong as you can matey.

Hugs.
