Truckfest Peterborough 2/3 May

Post by francophile1947 » Wed Apr 07, 2010 5:45 pm

Anyone fancy this? http://www.truckfest.co.uk/truckfest-peterborough
Camping is from Friday midday to Tuesday 10am, although I'll have to leave on the Monday afternoon - unfortunately no electric hook-ups. Cost is £76.25 for weekend (2 adults and 2 kids), including camping, fireworks and entertainment.

I don't think you'll see truck racing there as it's just a show.

You need to go down to the A.14 or A.1 to see the trucks racing.

What I do find puzzling is, if you look at the gallery page http://www.truckfest.co.uk/gallery , there is a picture of a Wellington Bomber :? :? :? :?

From just outside near the Harvester Pub place you can still see the fireworks and not see Showaddywaddy.

Yep twice as many engines and twice as many tailplanes as a Wellington and John old enough to have seen both sorts returning from day (well night actually) trips to Germany as well.
