Help Identifying Pipe

Post by ADAMD » Tue Apr 06, 2010 11:20 am

I am nearing the end of the huge job of fitting a new cylinder head, and I cannot remember where this pipe went!!
It is a metal pipe running from the front of the engine, runs under the inlet manifold (has a bracket that attaches to the inlet bolt)and then has a rubber length of hose joining it.
Please can someone tell me where the end should go!!
Thanks
Adam

Wish I could help. People keep referring people to diagrams on lushprojects (which I don't understand - where is it and what is it?). Have you tried using that?

Thanks mike, good idea.

I have found it here
http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... 1of02.html

part 95-5104

Still not quite sure where it goes, but I am sure I can work it out.

There is a sticky at the top of forum with a link to lush projects
http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... =3&t=34517

Lush projects seems to be a very useful database, does anyone else have a copy of these files in case one day Lushprojects is no longer there?

Cheers

if its the one i think you mean one end connects to the steel pipe that rises up to the vaccum switches/solenoids that control fast idol speed etc they are on the top of the head in front of heater plugs.the other end dives down to steel and bolts on to the front edge of the injector pump heading towards the vaccum unit ,which makes sense as it is a vac pipe hope this helps.
