LPG Wheel substitute

Post by nightjar » Fri Apr 02, 2010 8:29 pm

Hi,

With LPG conversion, I lose the spare wheel (space). Understood.

Options :
Carry spare wheel in van (or attached elsewhere).
Carry/fit skinny wheel.
Treat wheels with Puncturesafe.

Given 100's of 000's of km driving, I thought the odds are good for trying the puncturesafe route ... but I can't find anywhere to get it 'done' locally (E Kent).

Is this the 'right' way to go?

Thanks

I've a feeling they will charge you if you don't carry a serviceable spare, don't know how that works with some of the new models that don't have a spare.
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.
