It looks like my water pump has given up.

Caught it before it has done any damage through overheating fingers crossed.
I'm new to Bongo life, how much will it cost to replace and fit by a bongo friendly garage?? any advice appreciated
thanks alan

Water pump itself goes from about £30 upwards, labour wise it isn't a big job . . . .

Just make sure whoever does it is ok with the bleeding procedure, get them to give it a proper flush so you're not mixing incompatible coolants & worthwhile getting a new (genuine mazda) thermostat while you're about it, they're not expensive. Also make sure you know what coolant they've put in so you know what you can top it up with if/when necessary (hopefully it shouldn't be).

Any grease monkey can change the pump, the Bongo then needs someone with the ability to bleed the system correctly. I agree with dandemann8, ring Mike at Wheel Quick 01942 217800.Best guarantee of keeping your engine in one piece.
