How rusty is your bottom ?

Post by mayk19 » Sun Mar 28, 2010 7:12 pm

I waxoyld our Bongo yesterday, We have had him for three years this July, should have done it sooner but never had time. I was suprised, crawling around underneath, just how rusty a lot of parts are. Sill seams are visibly rusty, all suspension bars / mountings have a fair amount of rust on, the chasis floor is rusty towards the rear, rear wheel arches are not good. Last summer he was looking good, anyone else had a poke underneath to see the rust ?

How did you treat all that rust before you covered it up...If you didn't it will be eating away under the waxoil
