Hello,
Our drivers side electric mirror has stopped working...it still goes in and out but we are unable to adjust it..the passenger one works fine. Is there a seperate fuse for each side?
thanks for reading.

Re: electric mirror fault
Hi Barley,
I'm taking that the angle adjustment of the actual mirror on the driver side don't work, as opposed to the usual mirror folding mechanism??
If so? Then I would start looking at the actual switch...
The same fuse for the radio & cigarette lighter also services the mirrors..
It could be a dodgy connection of the poles on the actual right hand side mirror adjustment selection side inside the switch itself? I would hazard a guess they just need a clean...?
I would also look at the loom between the drivers door & the body..? Check where it bends at the clip on the hinge & where the loom goes into the body under the sleeve on the grommet..
The wires can stress & brake at these points.
Hope this helps.?

Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...

Re: electric mirror fault
The mirror functions work off separate motors..
So a blown fuse would cause the mirror to pack up entirely.
As said above...start at the door loom then the switch and work up towards the mirror...they are a bugger to dismantle but it can be done and a new motor fitted if required.
How do I know ?? co's I did it.
