Hose identification needed

Post by Betty Bongo » Wed Feb 17, 2010 10:02 pm

Took Betty into garage as losing coolant - diagnosis is split hose.

The description from mechanic is that 'the hose from cylinder block down to heater (S shape) is split'. We want to get hold of the hose quickly but there appear to be a few hoses that are 's' shaped and none have this kind of description.

Can anyone help?

Has anyone used Freelance Mazda, Chatham, Kent?

Cheers

I don't know which model Bongo you have, but you may be able to see the hose you need (and get the part number) ON THIS LINK If it's not there, if you search the site there are other diagrams of hoses.
Allans Garage retired. Try PGS (Plymouth Garage Services) or Mayflower Auto Services Plymouth

Cheers for that Doone. Going to send through diagram to garage and get them to identify the hose, so we can order.

sounds like 61 - 213 going to point Z, on this diagram that shows the heater pipework, don't think it's on t'other one - http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... mgno=.html the hose that comes out of the drivers side towards the rear of the engine over the starter going down to a T-piece that supplies the heaters, make sure you get the riht one as there are different versions of that pipe depending on whether it's a 2.5l v6 petrol, 2.0litre petrol or 2.5 litre turbo diesel.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
