Vacuum pipe confusion on a 1995 2.5 TD

Post by lidgett-land » Tue Feb 09, 2010 1:33 am

Hi all,
Been doing some work on the old girl over ther winter, this weekend it was the injectors out for testing and glow plugs while I was in that area all is fine with injectors and glow plugs but when putting back together I pulled of 2 vacuum pipes by mistake when putting the solanoid's back on top of the inlet manifold, the anoying part is that I marked the pipes up lower down where they push on to the diesel injection pump, what I didn't realize was that they are joined by steel pipe further up and they have come disconnected from there, I have pushed them back on where I think they came from just by the way they were dangling but if any one could confirm the correct order of the 2 pipes I would be very
grateful, the pipe with the white dotted line down it go's to the rear of the vac unit on the lower part of the injection pump ? and the other pipe about 2 inch further forward of the first one ? can someone confirm this.
And can someone educate me on how to insert a picture or two I have taken thats on my computer on to my post so you can see what i'm babbling on about, i see the "img" button at the top but where do I go from there ?
Thanks peeps

To insert a pic you need to host them on a server such as photo bucket & paste the link, make sure it's within size limits - http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... m.php?f=42

Does this help on the vacuum pipes - http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... 1of02.html
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
