Hi,
I'm after the location of the wire that goes to ground when the vehicle is put in park
Location or even the colour code would help
Cheers Scott

The 1995 model has an Inhibitor switch which puts out an Earth to allow you to start;

and is coloured White

No just a turbo timer , wire it to the park rather than the handbrake, never use the thing anyway
I know, I know

That's not directly Park as per the Gear Selector.
The Gear Selector switches +12v, and doesn't use the park position in the 1995 models it does however in the 1997 model
and puts it out on a Yellow wire;

also on the 1997 model the Inhibitor switch is different as well it switches the +12v, so better check which year your on!!

In that case this may be of use to you...? (Second paragraph down. & the boxed quote.)
just in case you get an unlocking glitch when the TT powers off... Could save some head scratching! You never know!

hmmm mines is a 99 so + switched then, will just stick a small relay in the circuit or just go off the handbrake.
BTW It take it you forum name is you Amateur Radio callsign? Me, i'm only a whipper snapper and carry a G7 callsign but havent used it for while, still have the gear and occasionally can be found on GB7CI but not for a little while
My alarm is completely separate so shouldn't affect it... I hope

Well if its post Jan 1999 then it could be anything, the Club hasn't got the more recent manual yet. Its either May 1995 to Oct 1997 or Nov 1997 to Jan 1999 that are on-line.
Yup the old callsign is unique so I don't have to worry about it being used elsewhere! Still active but not as much these days but look after the
Worthing repeaters for my sins

Stick around until the timer stops...

you never know.!
I was gonna fit a remote start & TT that came with the alarm bundle.. I thought better of it.. The set up "could" probably be hot-wired...
