Coolant dripping from sump
Yesterday I fitted a new radiator and thermostat to the bongo, after the old radiator failed. I replaced the coolant, bleed the system as per instructions, and all was looking good, darkness had fallen so I decided to leave it over night before putting the engine tray back on. Started up the bongo this morning to give it a final check and there is coolant dripping of the sump at the front below the belts. I can't for the life of me find where it's originating from. It's qute a way from the thermostat housing which is dry as a bone as are all the connections on the raidator. It's doesn't look like its originating from anywhere I've been working on so I scratching my head at the moment. Any ideas/pointers on where this leak could be starting from.

Re: Coolant dripping from ATF sump
You sure you don't mean it's dripping from the engine sump rather than the ATF (gearbox) sump? I'd agree with Wayne, looks like it's the front of the engine & I'd suspect the water pump, seems to be a plague of them going at the mo.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
Re: Coolant dripping from sump
Yep Kirsty, it the engine sump not the ATF
Had a bit more of a pock around, it's definitely coming from behind the large pulley at the bottom, can't see it originating any higher up, think i'm going to have to remove the fan to get my head a little higher!

Re: Coolant dripping from sump
Had the very same problem it was the water pump.

Re: Coolant dripping from sump
Thanks for the tip, I couldn't spot the exact source of the leak but all evidence points to the water pump. New waterpump and gasket ordered so fingers crossed it's the cause of the problem.
Re: Coolant dripping from sump
Well after a lot of arguing with the very difficult to reach fan bolt, the new water pump is fitted and the leak has stopped (fingers crossed). So thanks to everyone for the tips to the cause of the problem
