roof help it won't work ?

hi

Can anyone help ? i just had my Bongo cleaned which was great but now the roof will not go up its like theres no electric going to it ? i checked all the fuses that i can find and they are all ok. It worked fine before cleaning and i put the roof up for the valet people so i now there was nothing wrong and put it down " It just now wont work ?????

is your handbrake on......sounds daft.....but it happened to me........I put it on as it needs to be to work the roof.....then for whatever reason got took off and the roof wouldn't function......till I went to the forum and found I was a numpty......
Check the handbrake is ON

1st things first.

Is the Brake light on the dash coming on when you put the handbrake on?

Often its that switch that can cause problems . . . .

There is a switch behind the handbrake if you lift the console that must make good contact, give that a scrape or a rub with some emery cloth.

Have you got the engine running whilst trying to get the roof up? If it's been up and down a few times without the engine running it might have just drained the battery and run out of juice.
