Tail Light

Post by wyefish » Tue Jan 19, 2010 2:01 pm

A problem has developed with my drivers side tail light which puzzles me (not difficult!) The bulb appeared to have gone so I changed it. On testing the bulb all I got was a faint glow across the filament. I replaced the original bulb and the same thing happened!

Anyone have a clue?

Hi Wyefish,

Poor illumination is often an earth or contact problem.

If it was mine I'd clean all contacts poss/neg and see how that went.

Hope this helps.

All the best

Yep - usually a bad earth. Get someone to push your brake pedal to check if that's the same.
