ELECTRIC BLINDS

Post by TEZ217 » Fri Jan 08, 2010 1:57 pm

Hi all,
posted this on techie but its probably not so for a lot of you out there, but here goes make it simple please!
99 bongo converted with leisure battery all good, but would like to operate blinds by way of leisure battery when in rear so dont have to turn on ignition first,
Can you help advise me on what to do, or if its a good idea, can I keep the dash switches operating as they are and just power rear switches to operate from leisure battery.
Any advice you have I would be grateful of it, and although I'm a tough northener I will be waiting until the great thaw before I try.
THANKS.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL

You could get a willinton kit,(HE SELLS THEM ON EBAY) it includes the split charge relay and the connections to make your blinds, radio, ciggy sockets and internal lights to work from your leisure battery.
Lost without my Bongo.

I recently fitted a Willington kit to change my winter pack to a leisure battery, dead easy to do and the guy is very helpful if you get stuck =D>
