New Tyres

Post by dickymint » Thu Dec 31, 2009 2:48 pm

Hi everyone, Just got a new set of tyres fitted.

Went for the Barum Vanis 205/65TR15 speed rating R Load Index 99 all round.
As some people on this forum have recommended.

I am letting you know as I got them for what I thought was a good all in price of £204 for all four, included local fitting (via national tyres) valves, balancing and disposal of old tyres, even swapped one of the better existing tyres over to my steel spare without any extra cost.

Everything went well and looks good so far

PS Ordered on line via http://www.tyre-shopper.co.uk

The Vanis is a very good tyre......made in the same factory and quality as Continental Vanco's...but cheaper...... It must be said that it is a van tyre not a car tyre......nothing wrong at all with that, but needs to be added and also known for good longevity
