changing a tyre

need to get out my spare but struggling!!
found the rod which looks like a right angle with a hook on the end?
put the rod in he hole at rear bumper, but cant latch on to anything,
can someone explain the process please???

Insert long rod into rear bumper locating release catch then with your rachet out of your wheel kit wind down spare.

you need these two bits
the long rod is clipped to the top of where the jack is


Put the long rod into hole in top of bumper then put rachet on end and lower the spare wheel
