Bosch plugs, as most things Bosch are quality, but - if you're still running around with worn out valve gear which won't open the valves properly to enable the gas to get in the cylinders to produce the power and make the engine more fuel efficient then you might as well put in the cheapest plugs you can find.

Only recently acquired a Bongo - 2 litre petrol, not v6, but have used Bosch 4 terminal plugs for years in a variety of vehicles and have found them excellent. In fact , once fitted, I have never had to replace them. I take them out and clean them at every service and that's it. Would recommend them 100%. When my Bongo is due for its service I will be using these plugs if they do them for the 2 litre.

words of wisdom from dandywarhol, as ever. with apoles borrowed cap, leads and rotr it ran much better, so i will be replacing them, and thought i may as well change the plugs while i`m at it.

Hi there,
Not sure they would fit. Also they are very expensive. I paid less than that for Denso IK16 iridium plugs. Yes they worked well, but I have since replaced them for the standard recommended ones NGK BKR5E-11. OK the car doesn't catch quite as fast on a cold morning but the running and MPG are exactly the same. These plugs can be had for less than £2 each. In a low revving car like the bongo I don't think these uprated plugs make any difference, more noticable in a high revving performance engine.
So, from my experience stick with the standard ones, others promise lots but are far more expensive.
Change them after a long fastish run, allow to cool down first, then note the colour of each plug, gives a good idea of what is going on.
Good luck.

Hi, i changed the standard plugs to bosch super 4's when i bought our V6 as ive used them in our Kia for the last 5 years and they've been great
i paid a fiver a plug for them on Ebay but i think you can get them cheaper on there now if you shop around
. Our starts on the nose every time and runs lovely and smooth, im happy with them
, but the choice is yours.
Hope this helps you decide
