Blown Fuse?

Post by Tony C » Mon Nov 23, 2009 3:23 pm

Hello, I have a problem with radio - mirrors - cig lighter not working, this seems to indicate that number 8 fuse has blown.
On checking fuse box this is where the fuse is removed & replaced with the blue wire from the Willinton kit, have checked the fuses on the kit & all seem intact. Any ideas please :?:

Sounds like your leisure battery has gone flat :?
Try putting the normal fuse back in to see if it works then.

Thanks John, LB is ok though, I caused the problem myself by pluging untested lead into cig lighter.

Seen this before when on the Italian trip earlier this year... A fellow Bongolier had the same problem.
It was a fuse from the LB to the radio - mirrors - cig lighter circuit under the bonnet near the back of the bay! :D
Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...

All sorted now, took her down to Allans in Plymouth & had a free winter check at same time, also fixed me up with full size spare wheel to replace the skinny.
The mans just magic with Bongos. =D>
