What Towbar

Post by dandemann8 » Sun Nov 15, 2009 6:07 pm

Hi all, I'm looking to buy a towbar but with all the various types out there I'm not sure which is the best way to go :? :?:
I don't want to be cutting or removing the bumper and hopefully no drilling :) . I will only be towing a small galv 5x3 trailer with me camping gear in approx 250kg's. :D :D :D

Cheers

Duncan.

I fitted a towsure towbar ,didn't need to take the bumper off or cut anything, but you do have to drill one hole in rear under the plastic trim near the catch .
Lost without my Bongo.

I got a Tow Trust towbar........ dame as DBO.....only one hole to drill.....nicely made and the paintwork is glossy black and was so good I didn't need to repaint it for protection, but I gave it a coat of Waxoyl for good measure....

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-Towbar-Tow-Ba ... 2003r19621 got it from here and you get all the electrics ball, covers and bumper plate have since fitted a double step too
