argh!!! coolant leak

Post by alectroll » Mon Oct 26, 2009 6:13 pm

Hello again all. got a leak, not me personally but my van! metal pipe running under the drivers side door, leaking from where the pipe is welded to the bracket. noticed it last week as a bit of a seep but now its dripping merrily onto my driveway, had a look on the schematics but cant seem to find the correct diagram. any help appreciated.
thanks in advance.

If it's the smaller pipe you'll need the rear heater schematics - http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... mgno=.html
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Bongobits should be able to supply what you need - http://www.bongobits.com/Main.asp?PageN ... Query=pipe

You're going to end up with a new bongo at this rate Alec. Trigger's broom springs to mind. 17 new heads and 13 new handles.

But it was still the same broom.

LOL, you're not wrong!!! and i've got a set of shocks, for some lucky person to fit, sat on my passenger seat!!! and the guy who does the majority of the work on my van is fully conversant with the coolant system, he's already replaced 1 of the pipes for me and bled the system with no ill effects at all.

I'm back a week tomorrow if you don't get the shocks done before. Can't get the pit for 2 more weeks after that though - would need a set of ramps.
