Front Electric Window Woes!

Post by Grumm » Sun Oct 25, 2009 8:23 pm

I hope that someone can give me some advice on the following. My SGL5 has developed problems with the front electric windows - The front passenger window will not go down when you press the switch but will go back up when it is put down from the drivers side. The passenger window will only go down from the drivers side and not back up from that side! (I hope this makes sense!).
I am presuming that it may well be something to do with the switches, but looking at the price of them, has anyone come across this problem?
Many Thanks

Check the wiring between the door & body, common problem, also check that you're operating the rocker switch at the back of the drivers switch to allow the passy switch to work.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
