Have to agree on the bogs & showers, MSV tracks are good for that, and it's not much to ask is it?

Good dodge is to arrive on Saturday, pay the day rate, then turn sharp right to the campsite thus only paying for the one day  [-X

I'm already booked for Littleport for the first event, but could make the Classic Sports Car Club meeting - can't see it on the website :? (or is it just me   )

I didn't realise they were still that "slack" on checking tickets these days.

They seem to be. I've taken it up with a MSV official but nothing has changed. They did change the monkey on the gate at Oulton Park, though, who was taking the cash and not issuing tickets, just letting the cars in if you know what I mean  [-X

I will have to take it up with JP when I see him next at Snett...... he does tend to fly in at the Classic Sports meeting in October....

I'm sure with him upgrading the MSV circuits across the UK he wouldn't want to have dubious employees....

MSV tend to operate a "tear off" strip system for tickets not a scan in and out like some circuits, they also don't have a Car pass for Officials/Race teams unlike some circuits do but then you can drive around Snetterton and watch from your vehicle in many places around the circuit too without causing traffic problems.....
Many people Camp over at Snetteton and other MSV circuits on the 2 day meetings........because they can and for free, but I agree the Security checks need tightening up on the gate

At both Oulton Park and Snetterton there's nothing to stop you paying on the gate for a Saturday ticket, then driving straight to the camping area to 'view' the racing, camp there and you're already in for the Sunday. I know people who do that.

Even at Brands Hatch, they charge per person for the camping - there's nothing to stop you ejecting all your passengers before the camping gate, drive in & pay just for yourself camping, while your colleagues climb over the earlier barrier and meet you at your pitch. Trust me, I know people who do that as well :?

Equally, there's nothing stopping you at any of these circuits hiding some passengers in the back of your Bongo or just on the back seat of a car covered in coats, or in the boot. Oh yes, I know people who do that too. Only Silverstone seem to have it sewn up by making you walk through the gates.

Ah, but if you were going to the British Touring Car meeting at Brands Hatch you would be saving £28.00 per person - think how many you could hide away in the back of your Bongo

I know plenty who do the Touring Cars at Snetterton and camp over in with the Competitors on their site.....

......well as the competitors have their "hangers on" (guests) who bring their own Caravans/Campers and Tents. it's too much hassle to ticket each unit, hence why folks get away with it......... I would suspect though that the host circuit will make more cash out of folks from their restaurants than from everyone paying for the weekender and taking their own grub and booze
