Which Towbar???

Post by Ramsey » Mon Aug 17, 2009 10:22 pm

I want to get a towbar in the next week or so but confused which one to get?
I have searched ebay and several have come back that look totally different and supported in different ways.
Im not hung up on cost I just want the best/easiest to fit one.

Heres my search below, any advice would be great please.

Thanks

The towequipe /towtrust ones are slightly easier to fit than the towsure ones, but only due to them putting 2 nuts on a bar so you can feed them into the box section and not have to remove the bumper. Otherwise the bars are virtually the same.

The towbars stocked in the club shop are manufactured in Sheffield by A1 Towing:

I have just fitted a tow bar from A1 tow bars, not to bad to be honest.drilled few holes through chassis, took back bumper off to make it easier.
Happy with it.

I've fitted two of the towequip listed on ebay, fairly easy to fit with bumper removed, no cutting or filing needed. Towed a 26ft twin axle caravan no probs
