Tips on how to fit Water Elbow in Mazda Bongo Please!!!

Post by draper3000 » Mon Aug 03, 2009 9:57 pm

Been trying to fit this pipe:

To a new Bongo Cylinder Head.

no luck yet, have tried pushing and tapping lightly and not so lightly with a hammer and a mallet, tried fitting a spanner round the rimmed bit and hitting but that doesn't work either.

The pipe wont even go in at all, so it wont grip to allow me to slowly edge it in further....

PLEASE PLEASE HELP

??

Have now spent over 3 months fitting a new head to my bongo...its been an education....still saving myself £1500 by doing it myself....and cycling to work has its benefits.

You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
