Driver Door Lock

Post by PisceanJoy » Sat Jul 11, 2009 5:49 pm

I was out today and went to open my drivers door to get out of the car but it wouldn't opened
It hadn't been centrally locked
I had to put down the window and open the door from the outside
It opened Ok the next time
Any ideas?

Also had the fuel guage fixed. I printed off all te threads from teh forum
the mechanic said he rewired. Beautifully now sows me how much diesel I have but when I switch off the ignition the fuel guage doesn't turn off
Is this likely to cause mea problem vis-a-vis battery?

That's the fuel gauge working as it should be, needle stays where it is when ignition turned off - doesn't use any power.
Re the door, sounds like the rod from the internal handle may have become disconnected, may be a panel off job.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
