Waterpump gasket.

Post by mikelamb » Sun Jul 05, 2009 7:40 pm

Hi,

Is it possible to get a replacement gasket for My waterpump? I am going to check that the waterpump is in working order but don't want to replace it if its ok. I could make one but if there is one available to buy then I would rather do that.

I'm doing this as the next step in trying to get the bongo to run cooler as I feel its running hot.

If the waterpump is ok then I will look towards the rad.

Thanks for any help,
Mike.

I think the standard one is metal, so you could use again with a little sealant :D

if you need a new pump rather than gasket I've got a brand new, still in the box, never opened one oing spare....due to my stupidly guessing it would be the water pump rumbling..ws the alternator...much more expensive...a case of wishful hearing....send us a pm if you want it.

I think the water pump is the same as a ford ranger???, can you buy the gasket separate?, not sure to be honest but maybe worth a try
