newbie question.....

Post by graham33 » Tue Jun 30, 2009 9:59 pm

Hey guys, well I'm new to the forum - I bought a Ford Freda a month ago and things are going well. Infact the only thing that was really getting me was the fuel consumption - but at the mo I'm on 550Km and a quarter of a tank left  ! so even if it stick to that I will be happy.

My questions are:

1. what is the little 'tool' in the rear drivers side seat rail. it's right at the back of it. just wondered if I need it?

2. I have the normal heater controls, can you put in the climate control - I've seen them on ebay - I wondered if all the 'brains' was in the climate control unit.......

3. I have a rear bench seat, which i have taken out, can you fit the fold up seats that some fredas/bongo have??

thanks for any help.....

Welcome :D
1- Not sure, I think it may be a stop of some sort
2- No, servo's etc need to be fitted, no-ones done it yet
3- Can be done - but expensive, mounting turrets need to be welded onto the wheel arches & the anchors fitted to the floor.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
