Coolant Alarm

Post by Truant » Sun Jun 14, 2009 8:06 pm

Hi All,
Sorry if this question has already been answered but I started to install a coolant alarm today. All went well until it came to wiring it into the 12v supply. I am not really sure were the best place is to wire it into (i.e. - which wire to cut!!). Can someone who has done theirs give me some recommendations!?
Much appreciated

If your ciggy socket switches off/on with the ignition (i.e. doesn't work when switched off) then ,take the plug off the back of the ciggy socket and tap into that and replace plug.....or....there will be a switched live going to your audio unit......or....go to the back of the fuse box and tap into one of the top row of wires.
