SGL3 and SGL5

SGL3 and SGL5
What is the difference between SGL designations for Bongo's I have just acquired a vehicle with VIN number of SGL5----- but it is only two wheel drive, I thought SGL3 denoted two wheel drive?? Do Ihave some sort of Hybrid??

I thought the same - both my SGL5s have been 4 WD 
Maybe yours has been converted to 2WD by removing the front shafts.
