Has anyone had to replace their windscreen? How much did it cost and are they easy to source?

Re: Windscreen
yes its been done many times.
Sourcing doesn't seam to be too big a problem but prices vary so look around.
Its a professional job due to the way its fitted

Re: Windscreen
seem to be at least two different colour tints, green & brown & there are some lurking about with a larger sunstrip across the top too.
Did a quick search using "windscreen and repalcement" & came up with http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... mit=Search If the answers not there, try a few different wording options in the search facility, this one does seem to come up fairly often, good luck getting it sorted

You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Thanks again everyone. I know I should do a search before asking a question but it's the interaction that I enjoy not the searching.
Re: Windscreen
Got mine done through my insurance (lifesure) cost 60 pounds. I think it was autowindscreens that did it.
Re: Windscreen
Whilst driving along the M80 today a large object hit my windscreen. It has left a large spider web effect of over 2 feet in diameter, so I've had to go to my local Autoglass who are installing the screen tomorrow. It's only costing me £60 so I cant complain, and its forced me to get my finger out and get the screen done.
Thanks again for all the advice
