can anyone advise me on the rough price it would be to fit a hook up,some of the bongos we are looking at dont have them but i could fit one after..

Hi, give Richard at Clearcut conversions a call he can advise. Parts are less than £80 but you need to cut a hole in teh bodywork, and have a sparky fit an RCD protected consumer unit.

did mine myself. about 2 hours work and £30 tops....you need a socket to fit to the exterior of the van and a RCD unit to fit inside.
Some thing like one of these and then cut the cable and connect into your external socket (available from TOWSURE) they also do a good cheap version of a simerlar unit to the one below

My site cable comes into the van under the bonnet via a connector to an RCD camping unit with one socket It sits on a board highish up in the in the passenger footwell. With the bonnet closed the cable cant be stolen easily
