Fitting a rear Spoiler

Hi Everyone

I have recently bought a second hand rear spoiler and due to some minor damage I had it sprayed. When it come to fixing it the mechanic asked me for the fixing templates - which unfortunately I do not have! He said that he could not fix it without these as he would be unable to line it up correctly.

We had someone fit ours and it looked great, until we tried to put the roof up So now my son has redone it and it's fine. Just wanted to warn you about the roof. I don't have a template unfortunately.

The Bongo rear spoiler seems to be completely useless at keeping dirt off the rear window -- I assume that this is its function, as I can't imagine its to keep the rear wheels on the ground at high speed! Are you sure you want to fit it?

I fitted one three weeks ago, by measuring another Bongo's spoiler, and drilling the four holes the same.

The screws are M6, I had to ease one or two holes out a bit, but the spoiler fitted OK, and the door opens fully without fouling.

Is there someone close to you where you could take the measurements, and mark your tailgate up with masking tape, for the fitter to drill?
