V6 spark plugs

Hello everyone,i'm thinking of changing my spark plugs to bosch super 4's,i've always had them in my Kia for the last five years and have found them to be excellent,smoother,better acceleration and better idiling

. I'd like to put them in our bongo but am not sure,has anyone tried them and how did you get on with them.Thanks

Hi Wishmaster.
Nope,not tried Bosch,not sure if the do them for the V6

Recommended are the following:NGK BKR 5E-11, NGK BKR 6E-11 or Nikkon Denso K16 PRU-11, Nikkon Denso K20 PRU-11.

Nope not tried them myself, i stuck with the ngk's cheap and cheerfull

change them more often

i have replaced leads, plugs, dizzy cap and rotor arm oh and that damn fiddly pain in the a##e o ring on the cap, i know why mine was missing now

rotor arm n cap made the biggest diff on mine, my cap wasn't that bad the rotor arm was duff

but i got a spare cap now

I hate losing of the lights to a sprinter so let me know if they make a difference

Hi guys,just found the bosch super 4's on ebay.Spoke to the company to confirm they'd be the rite 1's. The man from delmonte he say YES

So ive ordered 6 and should have them for the weekend. I'll pop them in and give her a damn good run and will let you know

.If our Kia is anything to go by they'll be fine, they totally changed the way it drove ' FAB'

. The difference in the Kia was noticable straight away,a 1.5lt felt more like a 1.8lt and quick off the blocks too

Hi Wishmaster,
Good idea to keep us informed.I bought some of those Bosch plugs for my Volvo.

Made not the slightest difference,tickover,pick-up,acceleration,no change.
Sometimes manufacturers know whats best.!!

I've only ever owned Japanese cars since 1980. Twice I've tried non Denso or NGK plugs (Champion and Bosch) and each time I had trouble with starting and misfires. On each occasion a tuning expert had told me to only use Japanese plugs in Japanese engines (I don't know why I didn't listen the first time). Until recently moving to diesel cars, I used iridium NGKs in my MR2 and wife's Mazda. A bit more expensive than standard but you don't bother gapping them, bung em in and forget about them for 60k miles and both engines ran as sweet as anything.

A while back I moved to Denso Iridium IK16, they seem very good and are still going strong. Iridium plugs are more expensive but check on ebay as I found a set far cheaper, same plugs fit in the Harley motorbikes. Got mine from the states, quick delivery and miles cheaper than I could find in the UK.

Ive tried them out now for week or so,little bit better accelleration but otherwise not much of a difference,

30 quid for 6 i wont bother again but had to try cause you never know
