Post by andyb36 » Thu Mar 26, 2009 5:23 pm

hi all

my question is, what do i do for a spare

with out much thinking i now have a set of rx 8 wheel on the bongo

i have one of those space saving things as a spare

what size wheel will i need for a spare and will it fit ?

i know i need nearly the same tyre size

but will i be able to use a 15'' wheel with the same circumfirance tyre ??

please advise

the rx 8,s are the nearly the same size as my old 15,s

just low profiles on

Hi, What size are the tyres on your MX rims?

If you've got the 225/45 x 18 RX8 tyres all round, then the standard Bongo rear (215/65 x 15") is exactly the same rolling radius, and would do as a spare.

There will be more roll on corners when using it, due to the taller sidewall, so don't try any rallying!
