since I don't really know what it does, or how to sort out, now afraid to start the Bongo.

Any ideas or is it time to shoot the Bongo and then let the wife shoot me?

Fixed it, I reamed the inside of the valve and the broken bit out to a diameter that would receive a piece of Biro refill pipe to act as stub/spigot and then carefully glued the two parts together, checking that the valve still worked. Wrapped it in duct tape to add a bit of support.
I'll be interested to get your assessment. This is a job I've not got round to doing.catzi wrote:Brilliant!![]()
That sounds like something I can bodge together!
Might go and start the Bongo now and see how it goes!
Thanks Doone!
