Yep....
Fit it yourself it's easy - honestly.
Ask Simon Jones
http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... file&u=936 to send you his wonderful notes on how to do it, read them and do it.

Very easy fit, and a geat mod. I fitted one, with help from Simon's Fact Sheet.
A couple of tips: the Bongo wires are very thin, so Scotchlocks don't always make contact with the conductor, even though they have locked on to the insulated bit of the cable.
There are 2 Blue/White wires behind the dash, it's obvious which one you need now you know that.
You should be able to do this ok.

It's for those occasions when I get up very early & head "up country". The only thing I dislike about my Bongo is me being 6'4" & long drives!
Once it's fitted I may just toddle along the A30 at 3am just for the hell of it..........
My work entails nightly potters around Falmouth, are you an Arwenack or Beacon Bongo? I've counted 16 in one night, 12 in just those areas!

Was with you until scotchlocks, then my brain told me the rest was in hindi or greek or something..... unfortunately my understanding of electrics barely exceeds my understanding of strangely, charming quarks.......

It'll make sense once you have the instructions and Simon's notes. I'm your way in August if you can wait that long.

Your offer much appreciated. I'm hoping to get it done before then as I have a few runs planned already but if I decide to have a go at doing it myself & lash it up I'll be plying you with beer/pasty enticements to visit earlier!

Neither!!! You're missing the other hotbed of Bongos in Falmouth. At the risk of disclosing the location of myself and the other Bongos on this side of Falmouth to any ne'er do well Bongo thieves browsing this forum I will tell you that it begins with a B and less than 40 years ago it was all fields!!!!
I've certainly counted 11 other Bongos around and about Falmouth and you're right - Arwenack & Beacon do have their fair share. There's two more within a half mile of me.

Just realised - you might just be one of those ne'er do well Bongo thieves. Aw 'ang. Given the game away now! Now you know where to find all of them!
