Size is entirely up to you, but tyres get very expensive when you get bigger than 18".
You need 5 stud with a PCD of 114.3 and a centre bore of 67.1mm - you can have a larger centre bore, but you will need spigot rings to reduce it back to 67.1.

Thanks francophile, that information is just what I am looking for.

Will go for the 18" - had the Bongo now quite some time (passed its second MOT since we've had it, which is unbelieveable really) and decided to start spoiling it... seeing as every other Car has been unreliable over the years!

thanks Dave :D

No probs Dave.
Just bear in mind that the bigger the wheel, the lower the profile tyre you're going to fit. Lower profiles often don't reach the load rating needed.
I've got 17" wheels with 225/55x17 tyres all round - actually means my speedo is accurate as well :D
You can use this guide to find out what other car wheels will fit http://www.alloywheelsinternational.com ... UIDE1.html and this one to select the best tyre size http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Most do BB, they seem more prone to MOT failure the longer they have spent in the uk.
