I failed the MOT because my bongo does not have a fog lamp. (though it passed the first MOT when it was imported).
Is there any kit for this? what is the best way to do it?
I do not want dodgy mechanics to drill my bongo, please advice

Re: Mot and Fog lamp
you can buy foglamps from ebay that fit under the bumper (they do get knocked off) or you can fit a flush version into the bumper, this has been done by loads of bongoers.try the search button top right.
put your location into your profile ,then if someone is near to you they may be able to help you sort it out.

Lost without my Bongo.

No the lamp itself not the switch, any of these two will do the first is preferable. The switch you found on ebay is a guinea Mazda front foglight switch, this will do the job but in practice any old switch will do. In practice you will probablly get the first lamp cheaper elswhere because despite its description it is by no means a Bongo specific item, look at other parts of ebay.

Try Bongobits - they sell the flush fog lamps and I am sure they can get you a switch.
Its quite possible that you have one - look for a switch that may be fitted around the steering column somewhere or even fitted into one of the blank switches. Lots of people use the drivers side reversing lamp with a red bulb, so it wont be obvious from outside.
Of course, many dealers may have a friendly MOT station who knows they will fit the foglamp before it goes on the road so pass it without - it does happen, but is a bit risky as many people forget once the need to fit one is gone.
