8th of March Wigan
At the Britannia hotel Standish (WN5 0SR) there is a model aircraft exibition, well worth going to.
Not talking airfix, pukka bloody big flying machines.
Two of my mates are taking their nearly finished jet engined fighter bombers from the 1950's, they are around six foot long..............and not (going by last year) the biggest there.

This sounds interesting... I've never been to a model airshow before, but i do remember you telling me all about them. I'm up for this if i've no family commitments.

Are we talking about the same thing Steve? It is a static indoor exibition, and free. The chance to get up close and exited at the level of amature engineering. (Am I sad?)

I'd love to come, but domestic commitments (including checking trailer contents all sound for Snowdonia) prevent. Hey ho.
