where is my thermostat?

need to change it and would love any advice on where it is, what i need to do and any silly errors to avoid. i think my van is slowly dying. its not resillient to winter anymore. have had brakes fail,starter motor replaced and now thermostat all in 8 weeks.

The thermostat lives under the passenger seat in the metal housing where the lower radiator hose comes in to the engine.
This factsheet should help - http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/member ... eating.pdf - there's a picture that shows the bleed hose, oil filler cap & dipstick under the passenger seat, it's under there, there's a schematic diagram at the end of the factsheet that shows it.
