spare wheel

when I bought my bongo it had no spare wheel .but also the cable / bracket/pulley
that hold the spare are missing .anyone had the same problem or khow of an easy
soloution thanks

May be worth pming Harry, he may be able to provide you with replacements mechanism
the spare wheel is no problem, the one provided as original is useless anyway - just get a full size replacement, again harry may be able to help you out if there's nothing more local available.

May be able to help you with a spare wheel. What size wheels have you got on and are they steel wheels or alloys. Mine are 15inch.

thanks for the offers with the spare but can get wheels tyres ok
its the mechanism need.
ive got 17 inch alloys with 215/50/17 can i put 225/55/17 on my
wheels

Yes you can fit those (I have them). In fact, it's probably better if you do, as the 215/50s may not have the minimum load index of 96 on the back.

Great idea. I've never heard of that part being missing before so I doubt anyone else will be hankering after it. 8)
