Help with stereo and rear wiper

Post by McFlurry » Mon Jan 19, 2009 10:40 pm

Is there a section you can get to fill the gap in the stereo bay with a regular stereo sized holder and perhaps a nice little tray? I got a crazy jap one that seems to take 8 trak tapes.

Also my better half accidently put on the rear wipers whilst bike rack was in situ. The fuse blew but when replaced the wiper didnt wipe but the squirter squirted. Will this have blown the whole motor or is there still hope? advise please......

The hole filler is called a cubby and is available from the shop or bongo bits or ebay etc
or you can get a bmw clock cubby from ebay or Haydn on this forum sells them
no idea about the wiper

Here you go McF.

You may need to file the tongues down a touch to get a smooth fit but they work well & look great.

We've got the same issue with our rear wiper - we inherited it without it working following a bike rack incident.

The fuse is fine, but how can you tell if a relay is broken? Is this a fundamental part of the motor or a simple fix?
